The Kozmic Bubble

I am interested in things that grow. My work for this project is all  
about growing food in the garden and cooking it in the kitchen. I was  
inspired by Sarah Midda’s wonderful book In and Out of the Garden to  
try and capture the essence and joy of growing food at home rather  
than buying it in the shops, and the journey that it takes on the way  
to our plates.

Food, and the progression from seed to table, is one of the most  
important aspects of our lives – yet in this modern world of tinned  
pineapples, frozen raspberries and microwavable ready-made lasagnas  
many people have become disconnected from the origins of the food they  
eat. My work seeks to bridge this gap, to inspire others to look to  
their gardens as a source both for pleasure and for life.
