Anyway, another Wednesday, another mad rush to get my coursework in on time. I handed in Electronic Systems today and it’s Electronic Communications Technology tomorrow. Music Business and Computer Music Production next Thursday, and then I’ll only have Audio Systems, Studio Techniques and C++ Programming to worry about…

More interesting, though - I had a walk-around tour of Markeaton campus today! Much much much smaller than I expected it to be. Somehow I’d had the impression that it would be huge, when in fact it’s quite tiny. It’s almost surgically white, really airy and light with huge windows, and most importantly it has TWO really nice recording studio spaces. None of the kit is in their yet, but the live room was nice and large and the control room was small and dark. Parallel walls, though. All six walls were in parallel pairs. You’d think they’d know better when building a purpose-built space for recording (more on why that is bad later, maybe)

I’ve got some video, who knows what’s going to happen with the podcast, but apparently it MUST be online by next thursday/friday, so I’ll probably know more by then.

I’m worn out, my nose feels like somebody stuffed an emperor penguin up each nostril, I’ve got a sore throat and I STILL don’t understand Orthogonal Frequency-Division Multiplexing. Only one week till the Easter Hols start!
