The Kozmic Bubble

Finished my coursework, handed in my coursework, then went to a preliminary meeting about a University of Derby podcast. I think I might have inadvertently become the editor of the video podcast, by the simple act of admitting that I’m pretty good with iMovie.

Anyway, the first thing that’s going to happen on this podcast, apparently, is a video tour of the new Markeaton campus (picture below), which is theoretically opening its doors proper sometime in April/May. So, next Wednesday I’ll be among the first students to get to see the new campus in all its not-quite-finished glory. For some ridiculous reason I agreed to do the sound for the video aswell. I have no idea what that involves or how to do it. I’m sure it’ll all fall into place on the day. If not, hopefully it’ll be endearingly amateur…

Rest assured, if this podcast ends up on the internet, it’ll end up on this blog!

Anyway, I got my assignment in with several hours to spare, so it’s an evening off before I get on to my ECT coursework tomorrow! Thankfully, one of my assignments deadlines has been put back until after Easter in recognition of the ridiculous amount of work we’ve been given to hand in in the next two weeks.
